Hello, world! This is
Marcell Hayes
Web/UX Designer and artist
Finding a comfortable bridge between tech and art…
As with many, my career has been far from a straight line. But I see that as a strength.
Since college, I’ve always been drawn to the intersection of creativity and technology. Even as an illustration major, I found myself bridging disciplines—whether helping others troubleshoot tech in the campus computer labs or finding digital ways to bring ideas to life.
Today, I’m channeling that approach into UX design, with a focus on creating digital experiences that help people overcome language and cultural barriers. Working across English and Spanish, I aim to design tools and interfaces that make it easier for diverse audiences to connect, understand, and collaborate—whether they’re navigating a website or sharing information across communities.
I’m committed to growing as a designer who merges research, empathy, and technical skills to build solutions that foster clear communication and cross-cultural understanding.
